• Data on this site represents ambient conditions at the station where it is measured. It is raw data that has not yet gone through our data validation process. Validated data is stored in the Alberta Air Data Warehouse at https://datamanagementplatform.alberta.ca/Ambient.
• Data breaks or apparent “missing data” are due to daily or monthly calibration checks or scheduled equipment maintenance during those hours.

Points to Note

• SIA data is reported to Mountain Standard Time (MST) all year long. Readings may appear to be an hour behind during the summer months when Daylight Savings Time is in effect.
• Data on this live data site is only available for 7 days prior to today’s date.
• The substances we measure are not the same for all stations. For a complete list of stations and what substances they monitor, visit Air | SIA — Strathcona Industrial Association.
• Negative numbers that may appear for ambient gas measurements have not been referenced to a daily zero check. This does not apply to temperatures.
